The memorial bust to Michael Collins, the Irish War of Independence leader & politician, in Merrion Square Dublin. Born in Clonakilty County Cork in 1890, Collins was killed during an ambush on his convoy at Béal na mBláth in Co. Cork on 22 August 1922.
